MY SMART GOALS
My smart goals are to get Straight A's, while improving in dance, and managing my time and organization.
All of these goals are completely within my range of possibility. To get Straight A's, I just need to stay dedicated. I can do
this by telling myself, "when you finish this assignment, there are only blank left. Power through!" This works for me very well,
because I know that when I wake up for school the next day, I can lead by saying "My homework is finished, and I am ready
to start class on the right pace." I also need to work on completing all of my assignment. For instance, in math class, if all
problems are attempted, I get full credit. I need to remember this instead of skipping it, and only getting 8 out of 10. I also need
to power through my dance classes. After a long day of school, I don't have very much energy for 2.5 hours of ballet afterwards, even
though I do love it. I need to remember that if I give dance my all, I can come home satisfied with myself, and I will improve more quickly.
I usually am great with organization, but every week there are a few stray papers in my binder. To fix this, every weekend I will do a
reset, meaning that I will go through all of my binders and make sure everything is in the right spot, and that I am prepared for Monday.
That way, I can start off every week with a new slate, which makes your day that much better, as well.
